God of War III is chronologically the seventh and final chapter of the series, and forms part of asaga with vengeance as a central theme. The game focuses on protagonist Kratos, who storms Mount Olympus with initial allies, the Titans, in an attempt to kill Zeus and the Olympian Gods.Almost all upgraded weapons and magic acquired in previous games are gone at the beginning of gameplay, with Kratos only retaining the fully upgraded Blades of Athena, the Golden Fleece, Icarus Wings, and the Blade of Olympus.
